How do I add teachers or other school staff to the platform?

Assigning the teacher role

The teacher role within the EtonX Platform allows a specific view of the students within any assigned groups. They will be able to view student progress through a course, responses and answers to various activities.

Once a learner has been imported or signed up to the platform, School Administrators are able to assign the role via the Organisation Manager.

  1. Log into the platform and click the Organisation Manager icon on the side tab.
  2. Click the ‘Allocations’ dropdown and choose Course Roles
  3. Use the teacher checkbox on any users you want assigned the teacher role and then click ‘Save changes’
